Andreas Burri wins the Freeski Slopestyle competition of the Stimorol ENGADINSNOW 2010
The freeskier from Switzerland topped all the other finalists in the spectacular Slopestyle finale of this morning. Also on the podium were Janne van Enkevort and Yves Müller. Nina Michel from Switzerland won the women competition.
Andreas Burri convinced the judges with a very good run and showed on the first downrail a 450° on to 270 off. At the cliff jump he presented a cork 720° off the table. At the third obstacle – a step up – a rightside 360° tailgrab and at the two last kickers he first showed a swith leftside 540° safety grab and the a leftside 900° truetail. With this fascinating run he made it on the top of the podium.
The whole contest took place under best weather conditions and on a very high freesky level. The spectators as well as the judges were impressed with the lines, tricks and jumps of the finalists, which really used all the aspects of this challenging slopestyle park here in Silvaplana.
