Incredible runs and action at the Freeride finals of the Stimorol Engadinsnow 2010

Under a blue sky and with best snow conditions, the finals of this years Stimorol Engadinsnow Freeride competition took place today. And again, the freeriders from allover the world presented a stunning show at the north face of Mount Corvatsch.

In the freeski category, Sam Smoothy from New Zealand beat Mathieu Imbert from France by only 0.2 points. The women freeski competition was won by Pia Widmesser from Germany.

José Caron from Switzerland triumphed in the Snowboard contest - and Raphael Bullet  realized a Swiss double-win with his second place. Susan Mol from the US won the women snowboard category.

Like in 2009, undisputed champion in the telemark section was Joonas Karhumaa from Finland. Already yesterday, Kristina Slinninger was able to celebrate her victory in the women telemark category.
